PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. (LPCK) officially held a social responsibility activity in the field of education entitled Lippo Cikarang Mengajar on Friday, March 1, 2024 at SDN Cicau 01, Central Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. This year, the Lippo Cikarang Mengajar activity focuses on providing education related to the wise use of plastic in everyday life and introducing various job professions.

Lippo Cikarang Mengajar provided socialization about the dangers of plastic use and its impact on the environment to more than 150 students in grades 1, 2, and 3 of SDN Cicau 01 Central Cikarang. On the other hand, through direct practical activities, students were invited to learn about alternative plastics made from cassava which are easily biodegradable.

The second education provided was about job professions. Students of SDN Cicau O1 Central Cikarang were educated to learn more broadly about the types of job professions that exist in the community today. From this professional education, students are invited to know the aspirations that they can make as future goals early on.

LPCK also distributes books that are worth reading which are donations from internal company employees and provides computer assistance that can be used by schools for teaching and learning activities and administrative needs. “We are very grateful to LPCK for visiting and studying with our students at SDN Cicau 01 Cikarang Pusat. We are also very helped by providing a number of books and computers that are expected to support students’ teaching and learning activities at school,” said Endah Sulyana, S.Pd., Principal of SDN Cicau 01.

Lippo for Indonesia PASTI

Through the Group’s framework for community support and involvement entitled “Lippo for Indonesia PASTI” (PASTI: Smart-Asri-Prosperous-Resilient-Independent), LPCK strives to create and develop programs that support Indonesia, especially those that live side by side with the Company’s activities.

The Lippo Cikarang Mengajar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity is one of the activities (which is part of the company’s movement entitled “Smart Generation) that supports the provision of quality education to the young generation of Indonesia. LPCK Chief Operating Officer Gita Irmasari said that the Lippo Cikarang Mengajar activity will target several schools in Bekasi Regency, so it is hoped that many students will be educated about the impact of plastic use on the environment and at the same time gain broader insight into job professions.
