In the ESG titled Lippo for Indonesia PASTI, PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk held a Blood Donation action by collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bekasi Regency.

The activity, which was attended by up to 100 donors, took place at the MaxxBox Building, Orange County, Lippo Cikarang on Tuesday (6/25/24).

This blood donation activity has been routinely carried out by PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk since 2015. Until this year, more than 1,000 blood bags have been collected for blood needs in Bekasi Regency.

“In addition to PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk employees, we also involve donors from employees in industrial areas to residents of housing in the Lippo Cikarang area. It is hoped that every blood bag collected can be a new spirit for those in need,” said President Director of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk, Gita Irmasari.

Gita also added that this activity is a commitment of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk to continue to care for others by contributing to providing blood bags for Bekasi Regency.

Meanwhile, Dewi Widiawati Amd. Kep, one of the Blood Donor officers from PMI Bekasi Regency, admitted that she was proud and happy with PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk’s contribution through this Blood Donor action for humanity.

“Hopefully this can take place routinely and motivate other companies in the surrounding industrial areas, because a drop of blood can save fellow human beings,” concluded Dewi.

PMI deployed around six of its officers to support this activity, collaborating with the CSR team of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk.

This blood donation activity is a form of implementation of the Tangguh pillar in the group’s framework for community support and involvement entitled “Lippo Untuk Indonesia PASTI” (PASTI: Pintar-Asri-Sejahtera-Tangguh-Independen). PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk strives to implement programs that support the sustainability of Indonesia, especially those that coexist directly with the company’s business activities.
