Lippo Cikarang Held Training for Safety and Health in Industrial Area
For three consecutive days Lippo Cikarang in cooperation with the Occupational Safety and Health Center Bandung, Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration (formerly known as Balai Hiperkes Safety Center Bandung), conducted training 'Safety Passport' for a total of 150 participants.
To get a passport, workers must follow the safety training program to equip candidates or labour to understand safety works in a company. So, the Safety Passport is an identity or proof that the employee or the labour candidate has a basic knowledge of safety works required by the industry.
So far, the Occupational Safety and Health Center Bandung has socialized this passport through higher educations and industrial managers about the importance of this program, which is to establish the mindset (paradigm) of both labor resources and service users to create a healty, safe and comfortable environment as a culture in the working environment.

Anom Pari, a participant from PT Tristar Makmur Kartonindo said this training is a very useful for both workers and companies, "As company's assets, employees must be protected, especially when they are conducting activities in workplace. Occupational Safety and Health should become "habituation or culture".
Associate Director of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk, Stanley WIjoyo, said, "Lippo Cikarang is an urban developer who developes industrial, residential and commercial area, where the industry as the economic base of the region. Lippo Cikarang has been in line with industrial parks in developed countries".
Currently, there are around 550 industries operating in Lippo Cikarang with 250,000 people work every day. Lippo Cikarang has been building 9000 houses with 30,000 inhabitants. Various facilities are provided by developer. There are schools, private & government banks, family recreation park such as Water Boom and Hom Pim Pa, international standard hospital (Siloam Hospital LC), 5 star hotel (Hotel Sahid LC), mal, commercial and business center.
As the slogan says "The Best place to live, work and play" thus Lippo Cikarang has become the best place to live, work and leisure.
