Lippo Cikarang's 2007 Nett Profit increased 3.4 times
Harian Kontan, 22 Maret 2008 - Throughout 2007, PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. recorded an income of Rp 158,7 miliar or an increase of 31.4% compared to 2006 of only Rp 120,7 miliar. Its Nett Profit was Rp11.6 miliar or an increase of 3.4 times compared to 2006 nett profit which was Rp 3.2 miliar.
Operational Director of Lippo Cikarang Harun Permadi, explains that this is achieved after the company sold 6.75 hectare of industrial area and 414 housing and commercial units. Industrial and commercial land sales contributed Rp 59.6 miliar or 37.5% out of the total income.
Followed by the town management division which contributed Rp57.1 miliar or 35.9%. Housing sales and shophouses contributed Rp 39.2 miliar or 24.7%. Other income contributed Rp 2.7 miliar or 1.7% from total income.
Although Lippo Cikarang's 2007 income seem low, LPCK still has an excess of over 4.9 million meter square that can be developed. If sold, this empty space could contribute Rp 410,7 miliar to the pockets of its sister company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR).
On the other hand, last year LPCK successfully gained nett profit of Rp11.6 miliar. This amount is an increase of 3.4 times compared to 2006 of only Rp 3.2 miliar.
Based on its yearly report, LPCK is also interested in distributing its dividends of Rp.470.9 million or a decrease of 2.9% compared to 2006 dividend which was Rp 485.4 million. Shareholders that will enjoy this dividend are PT Kemuning Setiatama 42.2%, CGMLIPB Customer Collateral Acc 7.33%, PT Kresna Graha Sekurindo 6.79% and the public 43.68%.
Especially for this year, LPCK targets its annual income could break the Rp 400 miliar barrier or an increase of 2.5% frpm 2007. "We hope our Nett Profit grow 10%" Harun said.
To achieve that target, other than operational, LPCK will build supporting infrastructures around the location of its housing esates. For example, building toll road connecting Lippo Cikarang and Tol Cikampek of more than 10km. To make this into a reality, Lippo Cikarang co-operated with PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk. "The investation is Rp100 miliar, 50% each," Harun explains.
Other than that, in the middle of this year, LPCK will also build a central drainage system. Finally, LPCk will also build Gas networking infrastructure in the first semester.
