To brighten up spring and enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms, you do not have to go to Japan. Lippo Cikarang, each year also celebrates the beauty of vibrant spring with full tones with a miniature Japanese cherry blossom.
Sakura Matsuri, an annual event held Lippo Cikarang, bringing the atmosphere of spring in Japan to Lippo Cikarang. The 7th Sakura Matsuri took place at City Walk Lippo Cikarang on April 7 and 8, 2018.
Working closely with the Japan Alumni Community in Indonesia (KAJI), Sakura Matsuri This year, the theme of the 60 years of bilateral relations between Japan and Indonesia.
“The event aims to exchange culture between Japan and Indonesia. And Japanese communities in Lippo Cikarang are big enough, we want Lippo Cikarang to be feel like home for them,” said Toto Bartholomeus, CEO of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk.
The event was inaugurated by Ryo Nakamura from the Embassy of Japan to Indonesia, Ushio Hiroshi from Cikarang Japan Club (CJC), Yoshinori Sodeoka from Jakarta Japan Club (JJC), Daiki Kasugahara from JETRO, Fuad A. Kadir from KAJI, Norihisa Tsukamoto from the Japan Foundation, Hayato Tanaka from AOTS Jakarta , and Drs. Sutia Resmulyawan, M.Si from the Tourism Office of Bekasi District.
With the presence of Sakura Matsuri, it is expected to continue to be a medium of exchange culture between Indonesia and Japan, in addition to being highly anticipated Lippo Cikarang event and surrounding residents.
